According to German news media, Bild, Oostende striker, Landry ‘Nany’ Dimata has decided to ignore rumored interest from Arsenal and West Ham in favor of a move to Bundesliga side Wolfsburg.
The striker just recently move to the Belgian club, Oostende, for £425k last summer, having never played a single game for his boyhood club, Standard Liege, but he was so impressive that the Bundesliga outfit are ready to pay £8m to sign the 19-year-old.
While it is not confirmed whether Arsenal’s interest was concrete, he is more likely to be given more playing time at Wolfsburg.
Last season, Dimata found the net 14 times in 34 games for Oostende, as well as two for the Belgium u21s since last September, and 13 (nine assists) for the u19s before that.
He had three years left on his former deal before signing for Wolfsburg.
