Rumors are now going round that Arsenal have agreed personal terms with AS Monaco star Thomas Lemar.
The Gunners have had the 21-year-old on their radar for a while now due to the uncertain future of star midfielder Mesut Ozil.
Arsene Wenger made an offer of $40 million for Lemar but it was rejected by AS Monaco last month.
However, the Sun are now claiming that the French midfielder has reached a personal agreement with Arsenal over a move to the Emirates stadium.
Lemar and his agent have reportedly given the go ahead to seal a long-term deal worth £90,000-a-week with the Gunners who have already completed a deal for France teammate Alexandre Lacazette.
This comes after L’Equipe reported that Wenger had submitted a new $51.3 million bid for the Monaco starlet.
Lemar is believed to have requested for permission to move to England after he recently refused to sign a new contract at the club.
