Arsenal Banter brings you latest update on Arsenal news from top media sites like Daily Mail, Metro, The Express, The Independent, The Telegraph, SkySports and so on.
Fenerbahce are the latest club to show interest in signing Arsenal’s Olivier Giroud.
With Giroud potentially on his way out of Arsenal this summer, several clubs have already shown interest in acquiring the signature of the France international, including the likes of West Ham, Everton, Marseille, Lyon, and now Fenerbahce.
According to Turkish media outlet, Haberler, Fenerbahce only want to bring the 30-year-old on board for a season-long loan.
Arsenal are apparently asking for £30m for the striker, so a loan move to Turkey seems unlikely.
Everton are allegedly willing to pay £20m for Giroud, while West Ham reportedly submitted an offer of £26m last week.
Giroud only signed an extension for the Gunners at the turn of the year, which has till 2019 before it expires.
The big guy found it difficult landing a permanent spot in Arsenal’s first team last season and therefore it is believed that he wants to leave to search for more playing time ahead of the World Cup next year.
