Arsenal Banter brings you latest update on Arsenal news from top media sites like Daily Mail, Metro, The Express, The Independent, The Telegraph, SkySports and so on.
Jack Wilshere hopes to be back on the pitch in time for the new Premier League season.
Wilshere had managed to remain fit without picking up injuries while on loan at Bournemouth until a game against Tottenham in April, where he sustained a leg fracture.
While the injury has excluded him from Arsenal’s tour of Australia and China, Wilshere reportedly believes he will be up and running in time for the Community Shield against Chelsea on August 6th.
There are, though, several doubts about his future at the Emirates. Wilshere has a year left on his current deal and is yet to put pen to paper for Arsenal.
This has led to speculation about him leaving the club, but interest is currently low as clubs are wary of his injury record. Sampdoria have emerged as the latest side to show interested in him with reports from Italy claiming they will/have/are considering an £8.9m bid.
He could remain at Arsenal throughout the final year of his contract, but may struggle for first team play.
