Back in 2010 when Arsenal was sending their best players away, fans were worried that youngster Jack Wilshere might turn out to be another golden goose. He was one of Europe’s youngster with lots of potential, and Barcelona weren’t the only club vying for his signature.
Seven years afflicted with lots of injuries later, destroyed Wilshere’s career at the Emirates and made him fall down the pecking order and Arsene Wenger has reportedly agreed to let him go.
According to Sky Sports, the club recently received its first offer for the 25-year-old – and Arsenal probably will be overlooking the bid.
Italian club Sampdoria has offered £6 million, with a further £1.5 in add-ons, for one of the most exciting British talents since Wayne Rooney.

In fairness, Arsenal are said not to be getting much offers for the midfielder – but still, if Wilshere can get past his injury struggles then £6 million would not be worth his value.
