Chelsea are reportedly planning to take England International midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain off the market in a deal worth £50m, according to The Sun.

The Premier League champions, who have already signed a goalkeeper Willy Caballero, defender Antonio Rudiger, midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko and striker Alvaro Morata this summer transfer window, are now being linked with a move for the Arsenal winger ahead of the forthcoming 2017-18 season.

The 23-year-old, who has international caps for The Three Lions, bagged six goals and set up his teammates 11 times in 45 appearances across all competition for the Gunners last term.

Oxlade-Chamberlain, who moved to the Emirates Stadium back in August 2011 from Premier League rivals Southampton, has found the net 20 times in almost 200 fixtures overall for the North London club, winning three FA Cups and two FA Community  Shields.

However, the winger is in the final year of deal at the club, having refused to pen an extension, alerting Blues boss Antonio Conte to his possible availability.
