Deal Confirmed ! £36m Submitted, Player Becomes A Gunner

Arsenal Banter brings you latest update on Arsenal news from top media sites like Daily Mail, Metro, The Express, The Independent, The Telegraph, SkySports and so on.

Arsenal have had a bid rejected by Paris Saint-Germain for winger Lucas Moura, according toUOL Esporte.

The Brazilian news outlet however say that PSG are willing to negotiate a figure in the region of €30m or £27m. They signed the 24-year old for €43million (£36m) back in 2013 but the midfielder has failed land a permanent spot in the first team.

The arrival of Neymar means Moura will fall behind the pecking order at the Parc des Princes. The Gunners will be considering other options in case a deal does not come through for Monaco’s Thomas Leamar with negotiations taking too long.

Moura would be a cheaper option than the Frenchman, and is also available in the market for sale. His 19 goals and 11 assists across all competitions last season for PSG also compares pretty favourably to Lemar who scored five fewer goals (14 in total) than the Brazilian but did contribute six more assists (17) for Monaco last campaign.
