Arsenal are at risk of losing one of their brightest young prospects in Marcus McGuane, according to the Independent.
The England Under 18 international is yet to put pen to paper for the club despite having entered into the final year of his current deal, and there several elite European and English clubs looking to sign the 18 year old.
The Independent believe Juventus are currently the frontrunner in the race to sign the youngster followed closely by Napoli. Manchester United and Manchester City are also believed to be keeping track of McGuane’s contract situation.
The midfielder signed his first professional deal in February 2016 and he has just risen up to Arsenal’s Under 23 side this season. He could however decide to leave in order to gain experience of first team football instead, and there are clubs in the Championship willing to present him with such an offer.
McGuane has featured for England at both Under 17 and Under 18 levels over the past two years, and the Gunners will be keen to convince him to agree to a longer contract.
