Arsenal Banter brings you latest update on Arsenal news from top media sites like Daily Mail, Metro, The Express, The Independent, The Telegraph, SkySports and so on.
Arsenal is expected to undergo significant changes this summer and plenty of exits are likely to lie ahead in the coming months.
The club has now officially confirmed one of those departures, as Japan international Takuma Asano has transferred to German outfit Hannover 96 on a season-long deal.
23-year-old Asano moved to the Emirates in 2016 but is unable to play in England due to his failing to earn a work permit, spending the past two seasons on-loan with VfB Stuttgart and helping the club seal promotion to the Bundesliga.
By continuing in Germany, Asano could push closer to getting his German citizenship that will aid his effort to secure a work permit that means he’s able to feature in England but it remains to be seen how the regulations will change after the United Kingdom leaves the European Union.
With all the uncertainty, it’s possible that Asano could end up leaving the Gunners on a permanent basis without ever kicking a ball for the north Londoners.
