Arsenal Banter brings you latest update on Arsenal news from top media sites like Daily Mail, Metro, The Express, The Independent, The Telegraph, SkySports and so on.
Danny Welbeck’s Arsenal future appears to be hanging on thien rope.
Following the arrivals of Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in the last 12 months, the English striker has flown down the pecking order.
And Gunners fans thought he would be on his way out this summer, with Everton known to be keen on the former Manchester United man.
However, a deal never materialised, but there is still potential for Welbeck to move abroad.
Turkish side Galatasaray are reportedly keen on the Englishman as a replacement for Batefembi Gomes, who has sealed a move to Al Hilal.
Arsenal boss Unai Emery recently stated that he was actually experimenting with Welbeck as a left-back.
“Danny Welbeck is one of the players who has a multi-position possibility,” he said.
“Right winger, left winger, striker, and also yesterday he worked with us at left-back – his performance was good! I like this spirit. To help positions across the team with positive spirit.”
