The Gunners moved to sign the 26-year-old during the summer as David Ospina was later allowed to leave the club on loan to gain more playing time.

So far this season though, new Arsenal manager Unai Emery has rather opted to keep faith in Petr Cech, who was in below-par form for the best part of last season.

Cech has redeemed some of his best form this campaign, but some fans have maintained that Bernd Leno should rather be the main option between the sticks.

Leno was given another chance to feature on Wednesday night in the 3-1 victory over Brentford in the Carabao Cup at the Emirates stadium.

The new goalkeeper failed to keep a clean sheet once again and here were the reactions from fans over how he performed on the day….
