Championship outfit Derby County are interested in the services of Arsenal centre-back Krystian Bielik.
Derbyshire Live understand that the Rams would sign the 21-year-old either on a loan or permanent deal.
Bielik spent last season on loan in League One with Charlton Athletic and is yet to make his Premier League debut for the Gunners.
Derby aren’t the only side interested in the services of the Polish under-21 international. Charlton are also keen on the defender following their promotion to the second tier last season. Bielik is also capable of playing as a holding midfielder.
A report in Poland claims that Derby County have won the race to sign the Arsenal youngster in a deal worth £10 million. We signed Bielik for £2.4 million four-and-a-half years ago.
Phillip Cocu became manager of last season’s Championship play-off runners-up earlier this month but has so far only signed Kieran Dowell on loan from Everton.
Dowell would be seen as a direct replacement for Mason Mount at Pride Park, whilst Bielik would be seen as a replacement for Fikayo Tomori, who was on loan from Chelsea last season.
The Rams have until 8 August to land Krystian Bielik and any other targets when the English summer transfer window slams shut.
