Arsenal and West Ham target Alexandre Lacazette is hoping to leave Lyon next year, according to reports in France.
The striker, who has scored nine goals in seven league games already this term, is under contract until 2019 and decided to stay at his hometown club in the summer despite strong links to both Arsenal and West Ham.
Lacazette and the Ligue 1 side have held talks about an extension, which would include a hefty pay rise.
But now it has been suggested he will decide against signing it and look to leave at the end of the season.
Lyon had hoped to tie him down for longer and insert a £63million release clause to ward off interest from the Premier League.
However the two London clubs have now be given hope after L’Equipe claimed that the forward will be ready to end his 14-year spell at Lyon in the summer.
