Arsenal Confirm Bids Have Been Received For Three Players

Arsenal Banter brings you latest update on Arsenal news from top media sites like Daily Mail, Metro, The Express, The Independent, The Telegraph, SkySports and so on.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger have been widely known for his miser ways in the transfer market, but he seem to make a good start to the summer with the early purchase of Alexandre Lacazette for a club record.

The remainder of the summer, however, is likely to signal a return to the relative parsimony that characterized Wenger’s reign before the signing of Ozil and Sanchez – who he also spent huge on. After two signings, it does not look likely there would be anymore signing before the transfer deadline but there are sure to be some exit.

Jeremy Wilson reports that Alex-Oxlade Chamberlain has been granted permission to leave, with the club awaiting a bid from Liverpool, Chelsea, or both for the 24-year-old. Kieran Gibbs has more or less moved to Watford, while Shkodran Mustafi is to be allowed sign for Inter Milan.

Arsenal ready to sell Ox after 180k-a-week offer but waiting for Liv/Chelsea to make an offer. Gibbs fee agreed and they’re open to selling Mustafi

Arsene Wenger admitted after last weekend’s defeat to Stoke that he was unimpressed with his central defence (he played three centre backs: Monreal, Mustafi, and Kolasinac), but per Wilson, it looks unlikely that Mustafi (or Gabriel) will be replaced:

No expectation of major Arsenal incomings. Sense they’d rather wait to see if Lemar or Van Dijk became feasible next year than go down list now.

Wenger is a big joke, the man is old now and expecting more from him is a big joke already. Look at his team selection for the Liverpool game. We can blame the performance on the defence but hey look at our midfield, everything he tries is not working, has he gone blind or what? Belellin was a disaster for the stock city much and Holding equally for the Leicester city game. To him sead was to blame and that’s why he benched him a guess.
