Arsenal are ready to refuel their interest in Malaga midfielder Pablo Fornals and are hoping he could be the perfect replacement for Santi Carzorla.
The 21-year-old, who can boast of six goals in 31 La Liga appearances, have previously been linked with a move to the Emirates. He has a release clause of about €12m.
There are now new reports this month that Arsene Wenger is desperate to sign the talented Spaniard and the manager has sent scouts to observe Fornals progress.
Mostly at home playing in an advanced midfield role, Fornals contract with La Rosaleda expires in the summer of 2019.
The North London outfit are hoping to find a player that would take up Santi Carzorla’s position expertly. Carzorla, who transferred to Arsenal from the Costa del Sol in 2012, is currently out with injury and might not fit till October.
