Arsene Wenger needs to push on this summer if he wants Arsenal to have a real chance at Premiership glory last season. The start was a very good one, with Podolksi and Giroud already signed, but this must surely be only the beginning for Arsene Wenger.
Unfortunately the biggest rumour surrounding Arsenal is that Robin might leave. The captain snubbed a contract extension, and the Gunners face the possibility of losing their most important player.
Talks over M’Vila seem to be progressing, and according to the media Wenger is close to bringing a player he’s been watching for over two seasons as the French international spoke about his interest to join Arsenal if the Gunners come calling.
Hugo Lloris is another player who has been linked with a move to Arsenal and it seems that the Gunners will be in need of a goalkeeper as both Vito Mannone and Lukas Fabianski seem to be close to an Emirates departure, while Almunia has already left.
Montpellier’s Younes Belhanda might be yet another player snatched up by Arsene Wenger who will be looking to add talent to his midfield after reinforcing the attacking section of his side.
Now that it seems confirmed that Giroud was actually brought in to replace Robin Van Persie, it must also now be faced that Podolski was also signed early as Wenger knew that Theo Walcott could also be on his way. There has been reported interest from Chelsea but absolutely no word on the Englishman’s contract talks.
Who can see this summer being simply Two IN . Two OUT?

Yeah right, stay tuned for more rumours -_-
Might be, maybe, looks like, seems bla bla bla this article is rubbish
If Wenger can bring in Mvilla, Hugo lloris, Belhanda and possibly Papi Cissie from Newcastle. We will be a force to reckon with. RVP departure is something that i honestly thought we should not be surpised or disaapointed at. The moment that he had a meeting with the board and they gave instruction not to talk to the media, i sensed his departure. RVP is a great player and a good striker but we should be mindful of the use of ” World Class Striker”
When should stop crying over his intention not to renew a contract but move on. Henry left around the same age and what happened? He gave way to new generation at Arsenal. RVP will leave and other will emerge. We should be more concern about who we will bring in and not who want to leave. Some people are blaming it on the board and the manager. Yes the board has stalled for too long before finally deciding to buy but lets all embrace our team and support the manager and the technical team. On RVP issue “does a man have to divorce his wife all because she’s no longer financially stab;e to be able to dress like other women”? Time will tell if those that are leaving are really leaving for the reasos that they gave us.
These players should not be replacements for current players! We needed these additions on top of our current players!!
Let anyone who whats to go, go only thing is try get as much as possible and with 12m left this seriously puts us on the back foot.
If you can get 25M for Robin and 15M for Theo let them go. Add Arshivan 7M, Bendther 12M, Chamakh 6M, Park 2M, Mannone 1M, Landsbury 3M, Watt 1M, Vela 5M, Djourou 3M, Squallaci release, Denilson release, that’s 80M IN and 13 wages.
We have spent 23M on Giroud and Podolski we need to bring in versatile defender like Yanga-Mbiwa 13M who can cover centre but play LB I don’t rate Santos he cannot defend.
Bring in Johnson from City to replace Theo on the wing. Would have like us to have go Holiett. Unless Fab goes we don’t need a keeper and not one at 12M either.
Lastly try and tempt Ba from Newcastle to join us if he has a low release clause then go for it.
If Wenger is thinking for playing 4-2-3-1 formation then i believe we already have a decent plot so far. now if we can add Younes Belhanda, Jelavic and a CB/LB then i don’t think we’ll suffer as some pundits are already thinking.
don’t get me wrong, i still wish we would have kept our orginal players from the days of Henry to present, however change will always happen. now we will survive without RVP just the same and with the current buys we have done, i believe we already covered 15 – 25 goals. if we get that attacking midfielder like Younes Belhanda or even a Ben Harfa then that’s another 6 – 8 goals.
hopefully Wenger will sort it out…like he usually does and win even a trophy just to silence some critics and past players.
Why are you guys bashing the author. He just titled it “rumours”. This means there is no truth in it.
Anyway, like all gutted gunners if we get Llorente or Mathias Suarez or Cisse, we will forget RVP.
I would be suprised if he goes a whole season without injury.Cesc did in la liga though.
It is certain that RVP wants 2 leave but i don’ t blame him i blame the board 4 nt changing dia transfer policy.Let wenger buy papie cisse as his replacement.
all of you never stay arsenal especially theo havent stay even one more day
Would a Dempsey or even Demba Ba not be a good deal with RVP leaving?
I support u guy let wenga go 4 Ba. Wit a Dm. Wit One Central Defenda. Then probably adam johnson 4 walcot. Guys pls 4get abt rvp. Demba Ba wit giround up front nah tret.
I personally like this move no like last season we were hoping that Feb and Nas will stay and got ourself into problem …..
