Despite his bad boy reputation off the field, the Rennes 21-year old defensive midfield star is seen by Arsene Wenger as the ideal player to give Arsenal the combative qualities that the club so desperately needs. M’Vila, who has played 18 times for France at the top level, is due to begin talks with representatives from Arsenal this week.
Reports in The Mirror claim that Inter Milan are also due to meet the dynamic midfielder but he is thought to prefer a move to the Premier league. Hopefully, Arsenal will beat West Brom on Sunday and ensure third place in the Premiership. They will then be able to guarantee M’Vila Champion’s league football rather than sweating on the result of the final between Chelsea and Bayern Munich.
The likely price tag of around £17 million means that financially astute Arsene Wenger must think a lot of the player. He might also be confident of unloading some of the less useful of the current squad during the summer. With Jan Vertonghen seemingly headed to White Hart Lane, the Gunners need some steel bringing into the side.
Surely an Arsenal win over West Brom will be enough to clinch the deal?

Regarding Vertonghen I don’t think Wenger has any intentions of signing the lad because according to many we have got enough defensive cover already and anyway if we do show interest i’m positive he’d sign for us and not the other lot…..Gooners forever!!!!!!!!!!
Gooners for ever is right on. But I make it we only have 2 good central defenders and only 1 good defensive full back – who has broken his leg again.
Note if we lose and Newcastle win we won’t even be sweating over the Chelsea result, we will end up 5th. And we still haven’t won a game without arteta!
Our fans are such doom merchants. Don’t forget to stock up for 21st december cause you will prob think the world will end. By the way the m’villa isn’t dependant on us getting champs league football…its nonsense
fff you are such a moron!with a mentality like yours i wonder why you wake in the morning??
I hope during this week that Arsene has shown a video of the Norwich fiasco to his squad. It should bring home the message that schoolboy errors cannot be tolerated in our final game…….probably the most needed 3 points in the season.
WBA have lost 9 games at home, so they are vulnerable.
We cannot rely again to our nearest rivals losing or drawing.
Our destiny is once more in our own hands. It will be a nervy 90 minutes but we must prevail.
Our match against westbrom is the match of the season, song threw away our 3points against norwits…if he had passed the ball one time, rather than tryin 2 look elsewhere, we wuld av hold d possession till the end…i hope this schoolboi errors stops hence4th….come on you gunners!!!
