The young Arsenal midfielder Chuks Aneke has joined newly promoted side Crewe Alexandre in a one month loan deal.
Aneke has joined the Gunners at an age of seven. He has then progressed through the ranks at the club before signing his first professional contract back in 2010. Since then, he has impressed for the Arsenal reserve team before making his first team debut in September 2011 in a carling cup match against Shrewsbury Town. Two months later he was sent out for his first loan spell, at League one side Stevenage.
The England U-19 international has often been compared to Yaya Toure and Abou Diaby for his style of play. Aneke was part of the squad which went on the pre-season tour of Asia. Aneke also scored the winner against Malaysia XI in that tour.
This season, with a host of midfielders in the squad, Aneke would have struggled to make any impact in the first team. There is a long list of young players in the Arsenal reserve team at the moment who are currently pushing for a first team place.
