Belgium Star Trail Runs Cold For Arsenal

French side Lille seems set to cash in big for their star player Eden Hazard, and with a host of top clubs on the player’s tail they are still stalling. Real Madrid, Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal are all interested in the attacking midfielder, but it seems that the French Champions aren’t willing to let the player go cheaply.

Reports have appeared claiming that Lille are looking to cash in at least £35million for their most prized possession, and even though Arsenal looked the most favoured to transfer the player such a big transfer fee will surely force Wenger to look elsewhere.

The Gunners attempted to transfer Hazard in the summer as well, but their attempts were snubbed due to Lille’s wish to use the Belgian in the Champions League group stage.

Hazard has admitted on several occasions that he wishes to leave the French club, but he’s more likely to do that in the summer than he is during the January transfer window. Even if he will indeed decide to move now, Lille will have to lower their demands if they want to get anything from the deal because Hazard hasn’t proven his skills in a strong league yet, Lille isn’t qualified in the Champions League knockout stage and Belgium didn’t qualify for the EURO.

For £35mil,No! What is the possibility he will live up to the £35mil billing. The ligue 1 is different from the Bpl. These clubs think they can use arsenal to get exorbitant fees for their players. Is this not the same hazard who said he would love to play for arsenal and valued at about £15mil? Now rumours say anderlect want €20mil for suarez. Ridiculous!

    Great player
with arshaving leaving if not this month then in the summer.

we will only have gervinhio who can play on the right side.

hazard would be perfect for us
he can play all over the midfiled left, right or in the middle.

    But lets be realistic here
with likes of milan chealse city madrid all after him
and they all could pay 35 million.

we have no chance of getting him
first of all its unlikey we will be in the top 4 by the end of the season and our problme will be to keep are best players let alone bring in world classs players.

we as a club have never spent over 15 million
we will never make a bid of over 20 million let alone 35 milllion

we as fans need to stop living in dreamland
and realise top playing dont want to come to us.

Change the strategy before its too late reduce the quantity and increase the qulaity. 63 professionals and 8 2nd year scholars is too many we should be able to cope with around half that or max 44. i could name 36 players that could be moved out that would leave us with 35 we could then go out and buy 9 players of better quality sure they would cost a lot but imagine the impact on the team and the reduced wage bill.

it is perfect time for arsene wanger to change philosophy.world of football change so rapidly in recently year, unfortunately our manager is behind of those, he still believe something which work in past.now day mid term team can afford possessing big players.so players not scarce as it used to be, any team can punish u.look other teams like barca they bought alex sanchez, and fabrigas cesc while their team was strong
in other side our manager rely too much on buying player under 20year this is kind of purchase is for future what about present.
arsene is great but he so rigid to change. am sure we can do better, if wanger forget about is failure policy and agree to adopt changes.
mix up youth and 20-25years signing
i believe on manager but is problem on application of economic, finance theories in football, things like optimum profit, maximization of wealth.while in football we fight tittle
