Arsenal have reportedly sent scouts to keep close watch of the performances of Benfica winger Andrija Zivkovic at this summer’s European Under-21 Championships.
The 20-year-old attacker was a transfer target for the Gunners as well as for the likes of Liverpool and Manchester City in the previous year before he chose to move to Benfica from Partizan Belgrade.
Zivkovic shone at his previous club with 24 goals in 93 appearances since becoming a regular first-team member as a teenager, but has struggled since then.
The Serbia international appeared in 23 games across all competition for Benfica last season, netting just one goal and three assists.
Still, Record claim Arsenal remain a devotee of the youngster with a whopping £52.5million release included in his contract.
It seems highly unlikely that Arsenal or any other club would meet that requirement at the moment, but it seems Arsene Wenger may still be keen to consider Zivkovic as one to target later in the future.
