Arsenal Banter brings you latest update on Arsenal news from top media sites like Daily Mail, Metro, The Express, The Independent, The Telegraph, SkySports and so on.
It is getting tougher and tougher to remain in the know regarding who is fit and who is not ahead of Arsenal’s first 2017-18 clash against Leicester, so here we bring you the latest.
The new Premier League season will be taking off soon, with Arsenal facing off with Leicester at 7:45pm on Friday night.
And just like the start of most seasons, the Gunners already have their fair share of injury worries.
Here’s who’s definitely out, potentially out, and probably not out ahead of Arsenal’s match against the Foxes.
Santi Cazorla (ankle)
The little Spaniard is still recuperating from the multiple ankle surgeries that he had after being subbed off against Ludogorets in October 2016.
The midfielder’s return date is unknown.
Joel Campbell (knee)
Campbell tore his cruciate knee ligament while playing for Costa Rica in July.

While the injury is said to be light, he’s still got no return date.
The centre-back injured his cruciate knee ligament the previous season against Everton.
He’s resumed training again but isn’t fit to grace the pitch until 9 September.
Jack Wilshere (leg)
After sustaining an injury to his leg against Spurs last season while on loan at Bournemouth, the midfielder’s recovery is still a long way off and is expected to play for the u23s before he attempts to make his way back into the first team.
His return date is 27 August.
Alexis Sanchez (abdomen)
The Chilean was uncertain for the start of the season but just in case there was any doubt, apparently he’s gone and hurt his abs.
He’s also due back 27 August.
Francis Coquelin (ankle)
Coq apparently faces a late fitness test ahead of Leicester after injuring his ankle in the Emirates Cup.
Per Mertesacker (head)
The centre-back was carried off the pitch in the Community Shield clash against Chelsea after having a run-in with Gary Cahill’s elbow.
He faces a late fitness test.
Aaron Ramsey (calf)
The Welshman was said to be nursing a muscular problem in his calf but apparently, he was present for training on Thursday and could be played against Leicester.
Mesut Ozil (ankle)
Ozil had fluid in his ankle but is now fully fit & will be available to start tomorrow. Ramsey trained today and also in contention to play. pic.twitter.com/KMFNknPPbP
