Can Arsenal hold on to a Europa League place?

Arsene Wenger has admittedly done really well to drag Arsenal from the bottom of the table into a position where they looked like they were fighting for a place in the top four again.

But that only lasted for one game, and now they have been beaten by Fulham and Swansea, with Man United coming up next week. The Gunners have now lost seven games already this season (which is the same as Swansea, Aston Villa, Norwich and Stoke City) and if that doesn’t become eight next week I will be very very surprised.

Next week Liverpool play Bolton and Newcastle face Fulham while Arsenal play Man Utd. The odds are that the Gunners are going to drop one or two places again by the end of Sunday, and who would bet on them coming back after todays performance?

Ramsey was rubbish, Arshavin was misfiring as usual, the defence doesn’t bear analysis and Henry and Van Persie were largely anonymous in the second half AGAINST SWANSEA!

Can someone PLEASE tell me there is something positive to say about this game, and Arsenal can still make a place in the Europa League next season?

only positive thing i can think off is finishing 6th 7th 8th.. lets be honest no one wants the europa league…. ps time for wenger to go, this same old bulls*** season after season is just pathetic, any manager worth his salt would be looking to strengthen his team at this stage of January but not wenger he’s to stupid and stubborn to realise his team is average at best… as it stands now arsenal won’t see champions league football next season and rightly so…… wenger Out! kronke Out! hillwood Out!…. time for usmanov and dein and a new fresh manager to move forward.

Agreed. If we can’t come 4th let’s come 15th and change the time worn regime.

Even if Arsenal qualify for Europe, and that`s unlikely, they don`t have the quality to make any impact.

Arsene Wenger and the board can be likened to a man who laboured so hard to build a magnificent edifice and then gradually destroys it using a bulldozer…
I am an arsenal fan of over 12years but pardon me if i dont see a way outta this mess. Even if we go on to secure a top 4 finish, whats the guarantee that AW wont sell some prominient stars come sunmer transfer window.
Oooh!! God help us from these business men.

Mr wenger do stop blaming the ref and saying how unlucky we sre with that kind of perfomance. At least show some intend to improve and bring some quality players this window before another 8-2 followed by the predictable panic buying. Yes you did wel to brong the team from 17th but that team is now tired. Time now for some fresh new faces at the Emitrates
