Arsenal have reportedly been called to attention after Stoke winger, Marko Arnautovic, requested for permission to leave.
Arnautovic was convinced by Austria national team legend, Andreas Herzog, to move away from Stoke for a big club like Arsenal or Tottenham back in March despite his contract still being valid for another three years.
Well, the 28-year-old winger seems to have taken to the advice as he has now requested for permission to move away.
According to Sky Sports, Arnautovic handed in the request this afternoon (Monday) as he’s become increasingly ‘frustrated’ with Stoke’s lack of ambition.
The Potters allegedly attached a price tag of £15m to the Austria international and while Arsenal will presumably be at attention alert since they’re in the market for a winger, AC Milan, Paris Saint-Germain and West Ham are all said to be targeting the player.
Arnautovic, or ‘Arnie’ as he’s popularly known by his fans, moved to Stoke from Werder Bremen in 2013.
He’s an integral part of Stoke squad having appeared in 35 games last season, bagging seven goals and providing six assists across all competitions.
