Arsenal Banter brings you latest update on Arsenal news from top media sites like Daily Mail, Metro, The Express, The Independent, The Telegraph, SkySports and so on.
Young Arsenal forward Donyell Malen has joined PSV Eindhoven in a permanent deal.
The young forward signed for the Dutch side for an undisclosed fee, Arsenal have confirmed. The move comes as a huge surprise as Malen was one of the more highly-rated youngsters in Arsenal’s youth academy.

Having arrived at the Emirates from Ajax in 2015, Malen was highly impressive for the U18s and U23s. His outstanding performance earned him a spot on Arsenal’s tour of Australia and China earlier this summer.
Malen is the latest youngster to leave Arsenal’s academy, following the steps of the likes of Chris Willock, Dan Crowley, Kayen Hinds and Ismael Bennacer. It seems these player are not certain of first team play at Arsenal and think they would have better chance elsewhere.
Malen played 67 games for Arsenal’s youth teams, netting 27 goals. He played either as a striker or on the wing, catching the eye with his pace and direct running at the opposition.
The Eredivisie is a great place for young players to play, I feel. If Malen is as promising as his time at the club suggests, you’d hope Arsenal would be able to profit from any future transfer.
