Arsenal Banter brings you latest update on Arsenal news from top media sites like Daily Mail, Metro, The Express, The Independent, The Telegraph, SkySports and so on.
Chelsea are closing in on Liverpool and Man City in the race to sign Arsenal star Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain with the transfer window a month down, that is according to several reports including in The Sun.
With homegrown quotas to be improved by a host of clubs, the Arsenal right side man has suddenly become a top target for several top clubs and even the bookmakers are going all in supporting the Ox to leave for West London and be a part of the Blues squad in this forthcoming season.
The transfer rumours are also pretty timely considering Arsenal meet Chelsea this Sunday at Wembley for the Community Shield, with particular interest now being paid on whether or not Oxlade-Chamberlain starts against his potential future club or whether Arsene Wenger will send a statement of their intent to keep him by giving him a start on Sunday.
Just under two weeks ago reports covered here at All Arsenal claimed that Stoke were readying moves to buy the 23-year-old English international but a sudden increased interest in the Ox could mean he may be seen playing the Champions League this coming season, with Liverpool also close by in the hunt – if the odds with the bookmakers are to be believed.
