Arsenal Banter brings you latest update on Arsenal news from top media sites like Daily Mail, Metro, The Express, The Independent, The Telegraph, SkySports and so on.
If RMC Sport are anything to go by, and they tend to have a pretty good track record, Arsenal could complete a deal for Borussia Dortmund’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang today.
According to the French outlet, the Gunners and the Gabon international have come to an agreement regarding his personal contract, with the Borussia Dortmund star’s father said to have been in London over the past few days to negotiate with the Premier League outfit.
However, while that seems to be sorted out already, both Arsenal and the Bundesliga side need to agree on a transfer fee, and that hasn’t been concluded yet.
RMC Sport explains no total agreement has been reached yet, although “multiple sources” have reported that it will probably happen ‘in the next two to three days’.
While it’s not as close as Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s transfer, this is a good news for the Gunners, who look to be edging closer to signing the 28-year-old.
Now to sort something out with Borussia Dortmund, and that’s the trickiest part.
