Arsenal Banter brings you latest update on Arsenal news from top media sites like Daily Mail, Metro, The Express, The Independent, The Telegraph, SkySports and so on.
Arsenal have reportedly made an offer of £8.8m for Eintracht Frankfurt midfielder, Aymen Barkok who played in 27 games for the Bundesliga club last season, bagging four goals and providing four assists.
The Gunners have supposedly submitted an offer £8.8m for the 19-year-old, as per reports by German media outlet, Spox.
Arsenal apparently tried signing Barkok last year but the German snubbed the chance to move to the North London club.
The attacking midfielder, who’s scored one in three caps for Germany’s u19s, is still contracted to Frankfurt for another three years and he has been with the club for the past four years moving from Kickers Offenbach in 2013.
Whether Barkok will get much time in Arsenal’s youth team, let alone senior squad, is yet to be seen and therefore it might just be safer for the teenager to stay put if he wants guaranteed first team football.
