Done ! Arsenal Agree Move For Barcelona Midfielder

Arsenal Banter brings you latest update on Arsenal news from top media sites like Daily Mail, Metro, The Express, The Independent, The Telegraph, SkySports and so on.

Barcelona have reportedly approached Serie A giants Inter Milan with an offer to buy €30million Arsenal target Arda Turan.

The Turkish star seems intent on a move away from the Nou Camp this summer as he has been excluded from the new boss Ernesto Valverde’s plans for the forthcoming season.

And Corriere dello Sport claims that Barca have once rejected Inter first interest in the 30-year-old, even though the Italian side are focused on other options at the moment.

They want to bring in Keita Balde from Lazio and PSG’s Javier Pastore, so that could still give the Gunners a shot at the player.

Turkish Football source has stated that Turan does not desire a move home or a switch to the lucrative Chinese Super League but is holding out for a move to the Premier League.

The price would appear to be the sticking point, however, as Barca want €30m for the former Galatasaray star, whose current contract has three years on it, but Arsenal are not willing to do a deal at that price, according to Mundo Deportivo.
