End Of Ramsey ? – Gazidis To Finalize £70m Move For New No. 8 Midfielder

Arsenal Banter brings you latest update on Arsenal news from top media sites like Daily Mail, Metro, The Express, The Independent, The Telegraph, SkySports and so on.

Arsenal have got more than a few creative midfielder in the team but Arsene Wenger in courtesy of Arsenal’s chief executive officer Ivan Gazidis is keen on signing another midfield star in the form of Leipzig’s Naby Keita.

Over the course of the summer, Naby Keita has been linked with a move Arsenal and if latest reports making rounds bears fruit, he might end up joining Arsenal before the end of the summer transfer window as Arsenal remain serious about signing him.

Yesterday, Dominic King of the Daily Mail covered a story about Salah’s move to Liverpool and also claimed that Wenger is desperate to sign Naby Keita from the German Bundesliga side this summer thus, making him a reliable source in terms of transfer this summer.

Similarly, renowned Chris Bascombe of the Telegraph stated that we are still hopeful of luring the central midfielder, who will cost around 50 million pounds ($63million).

Moreover, Mirror reported today that the French boss is determined to sign the African star to reinforce his midfield. Naby was in terrific form for Leipzig last season and helped the team qualify for the Champions League.

In 31 league appearances, Keita scored 8 goals and provided 8 assists. He was shown yellow card on 8 occasions and he wears the No.8 shirt for the club.

Ramsey have been very impressive in Arteta’s former No. 8 jersey which is possible to be given to Naby Keita should he move to Arsenal this summer, in your opinion, is Keita good enough to put on the No. 8 shirt for Arsenal, base on my opinion, I would say yes to that and Ramsey might either go back to his Rob Holding’s No. 16 jersey or Arsenal gets him a brand new squad number.

Ramsey is a Wenger favourite. Wenger and the club would never make him change his shirt number. To suggest such a thing shows your poor football knowledge.
