Lille’s striker Moussa Sow declared that he is ready to leave the French club and has expressed his desire to play in the Premier League. Arsenal is one of the favourites to snatch Lille’s striker if he will be ready to leave the French League 1, and they are expected to place a bid for him in January.

“I don’t accept the conditions or the silence from the club. That’s not me putting on pressure, just the truth.”, said Sow

“I’m only thinking about football and it’s not possible to leave in January.

“But my dream is to play in the Premier League, because you progress as a player with the atmosphere, goals and game.

“I watch the games with envy on TV. I desire to play there one day. Arsenal are a big club. But we will see.”

Wenger is currently looking for Solutions to replace Marouane Chamakh who is likely to leave in January, and Sow might be one of them. The top target is German striker Podolski, but Lille’s striker could also be a very good addition to the club.

I think we should look at a swap deal.involving park if they will have him. obviously they wanted him and i said back then the whole thing had a fishy air about it. apparantly monaco were reluctant to sell to lille and were demanding more money which lille could not afford. the conspiracy theory is that arsenal stepped in with a view to getting first dabs on sow and hazard. as i say only a rumour amongst a few.shareholders and hopeful fans. but i would love to see chamakh squillaci and park going their way with a sackful of cash whilst hazard and sow linked up again with gervinho. we could even throw in arshavin denilson and almunia to get the price down and what about wellington on loan?

Sow is a great striker, way better than chamakh…chamakh had his chances as a striker and they really didn’t pay off….i say buy Sow and give them Squillaci+Arshavin to drop the price

I think it will be hard to convince Lille to give off Hazard if we raid them for Moussa Sow. We allready took Gervinho from them in the summer transfer window, and we might just have to use some of our players like diaby or chamakh or squilacci as leverage. I actually love the opportunity to offload some of our dead weight.

nah nah no offence to sow but i was hoping for a striker who can create his own fate, always knows what he is doing and tries to do it, like bergkamp,vp,henry. i dont like players who’s game depends on a bit of hope and luck in their play apart from taking hard shots. and to be honest atleast chamak fufills that, he always knows what he’s doing and tries to do it, he always gives the players chances to playmake with him but he’s just not linking well with the rest of the play, chamak has never really done anything technicaly wrong just things didnt work out. maybe podolski would work.
