Arsenal Banter brings you latest update on Arsenal news from top media sites like Daily Mail, Metro, The Express, The Independent, The Telegraph, SkySports and so on.
Arsenal have been heavily linked with a move to complete the signing of Spanish international and Swansea star Fernando Llorente.
The vetera skilled striker who was part of the World Cup 2010 winning squad is keen on joining the Premier League giant this month, according to the Sun.
Now, according to latest report provided by Sky sources, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is keen securing the services of the former Bilbao center forward but no contact has been made between the two clubs as yet.
The Spaniard joined Swansea last summer and so far he has scored 6 goals in the league for them.
As per the provided Sky link, journalist Guillem Balague is sure that the French boss wants Llorente at the Emirates. There are also reports that the likes of Chelsea, Manchester United, and Manchester City are also interested in completing a move for the Spanish international this January both either of them would be facing keen competition from Arsenal.
Goes without saying that Llorente will also warm the bench if he joins Arsenal because no one can replace Alexis Sanchez who is the top scorer in the Gunners team and Olivier Giroud who is also in the best form of life at the moment.
Sky also claim that it is not clear whether Llorente would move permanently, or on loan, or one loan and one permanent. We shall see how the transfer saga unfolds.
