Arsenal are ready to Cash in on Alexis Sanchez but would only agree to a deal of £80million, according to reports.
Sanchez’s future at the Emirates remains uncertain as he has refused to sign a new deal with the Gunners, and reports now claim a move to Manchester City could be on the horizon.
Arsenal are reluctant to sell to a Premier League rival, and have holding out for an offer from Bayern Munich or Paris Saint-Germain, but as things stand that has not happened.
Sanchez would also prefer to link up with City boss Pep Guardiola and is said to be holding out for a switch to the Etihad Stadium before the new season begin.
The Gunners do not want to risk losing Sanchez on a free transfer when his contract expires in 12 months time and reports now claim they are willing to let him move to the Etihad, but only if Guardiola will pay £80million for him.
City will be unwilling to pay that much for a player who will cost nothing this time next year and could try making a reduced offer of £50million.
