LILLE have told Sofiane Boufal suitors that they must pay at least £15.6million to sign the winger this summer.
Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United have been keeping tabs on the 22-year-old – dubbed the ‘next Eden Hazard’ – this season.
The French-born winger, who has also been linked with Serie A clubs Inter Milan and Juventus, has impressed with 10 goals and eight assists since his move from Angers in January 2015.
But Lille sporting director Jean-Michel Vandamme insists he won’t he going anywhere unless the French club’s asking price is met in the summer.
Vandamme says Italian clubs should start negotiating for Boufal now to avoid missing out on his services to English heavyweights.
“Boufal costs at least €20m (£15.6m), that’s the minimum,” he said. “In January it was impossible for him to be sold. We’re not a club that sells in the winter window.
“In June there’s a possibility that he may leave, though there are Premier League clubs after him too. I think the Italian clubs had better beat that competition by negotiating now.”
