Record breaking Brazilian attracts interest from both Arsenal and Manchester United

According to sport witness, Santos FC youth Yuri Alberto has drawn attention from the Emirates with his massive growth

The Brazilian defender is said to be negotiating a new contract with Santos but considering his age, 16, he’s not tied to a professional contract, which implies a purchasing club would only need to pay Santos a compensation for money spent nurturing his talent.

European clubs are always on the lookout for young players from Santos as they have the culture of promoting their youth players.

The youngster has notched up 51 goals in 36 appearances breaking the State Championship record of highest goal scored in the competition, an honor previously held by Atlectico Madrid’s Diego who scored a total of 31 goals in 2000.

Aside Arsenal and Manchester United who have showed interest in signing him, Roma are also said to be in the background, waiting for the right moment to make a swoop for the 16-year old.
