Arsenal is reportedly planning to launch a transfer deadline day move for Schalke midfielder Max Meyer.
The North London side have been majorly focused on securing the signature of Borussia Dortmund star player Pierre Emerick Aubameyang, who is reportedly close to making a £60m transfer to the Emirates Stadium.
However, according to Bild, the Gunners are considering a late move for Meyer, who could potentially join the club for a relatively bargain price given that his contract runs out in the summer.
The report further stated that Barcelona has indicated interest in the midfielder, who has played for Schalke his entire career after coming through youth academy.
The German outfit has reportedly accepted that the 22-year-old will leave either in this window or at the end of the season.
