Alexis Sanchez’s will and hard work has drawn different opinion from several Arsenal supporters. Some see him as a model of excellence for other players to learn from while some believes its over hyped and hardly has any effect on the team.
His attitude of wanting the best always has caused a rift between him and some of his team-mates. With that, the Chilean has come out to say his positive attitude has kept him from straying from the standard he set for himself and has kept him from failing.
“As a footballer, everything you’ve achieved can easily be lost and then you are nobody,” Sanchez told the club’s official website.
“That’s just how life is and that’s why you shouldn’t let things get you down. That’s the reason I treat every match like a final.”
His final season at Barcelona is an attestation to that fact.
Alexis was an excellent player, but was always dropped in favor of the likes of Pedro and Neymar in an attacking trio alongside Lionel Messi.
The move to the Emirates came as a surprise but has been rewarding for both sides – he speedily rose to prominence and looks to be enjoying the reward that comes with the elevation.
