Arsenal Banter brings you latest update on Arsenal news from top media sites like Daily Mail, Metro, The Express, The Independent, The Telegraph, SkySports and so on.
Arsenal have reportedly agreed on a transfer fee with Watford over the signing of Kieran Gibbs, while Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is heading for the exit doors soon.
The 27-year-old has fallen out of favor with the Gunners boss Arsene Wenger, with the summer signing of Sead Kolasinac undoubtedly the last he could take.
In turn, according to Sky Sports, Watford have agreed a fee with Arsenal to sign the left-back, although the agreed amount hasn’t been made public yet.
It is noted that West Bromwich Albion had a £10m bid turned down last month, and so it can be assumed that it is more than that as Arsenal have been holding out for £15m for the England international.
Gibbs will undoubtedly be heartbroken to leave the Gunners behind having come through the youth system while making his debut back in 2007, but this is certainly the best move for both parties moving forward.
