Arsene Wenger has been given a major injury boost ahead of Saturday’s clash with Watford in the Premier League.
The Gunners are set trudge down to Vicarage Road following a back to back victory in the league ever since the humiliating 4-0 loss at Anfield.
Two key players that have been out of action in recent weeks have been Mesut Ozil and Danny Welbeck who scored a brace against Bournemouth.
But Wenger has confirmed that the duo has now returned to training and are now available for selection on Saturday.
“He [Ozil] was not available for Germany, but he is now available yes.” the Arsenal manager said
“He had a whole week training, he is maybe not completely back physically to his best but he is available. There is no problem anymore.”
The Arsenal manager then added that Welbeck, who has fallen victim to injuries on several occasions in recent years, will not be staying too long on the sidelines this time.
“He is available for selection again. He is a bit quicker than expected.”
