According to reports by The Sun, Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is keeping an eye on Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham, as the player is ready for a move away from Stamford Bridge if he does not make the first team again.
The reports could be true about Wenger’s interest in the Chelsea man, but it is strange that the 19-year old would expect a spot in Antonio Conte’s first team after just a successful loan spell in the Championship.
Ordinarily, Abraham could be given a spot in Chelsea’s next season’s team, but it’s not something he should demand for at the current stage his career is at.
The Englishman picked up a whopping 23 goals in the Championship for Bristol City, helping them to keep away from the relegation zone, and has therefore been drawing attention from around the country.
From the Premier League, Everton have also indicated interest in the striker, with lots of Championship club also keeping Abraham on their radar.
It’s still unclear where Abraham will be come next season, but the surest thing is that he will not be leaving the Bridge permanently.
