We always kept saying that we don’t need Batman because we have Robin, but it seems like that ship has also sailed for Arsenal after the captain has declared that he refuses to sign a new contract with the Gunners.
Arsenal’s star Robin Van Persie might be on his way out of the club this summer, and if so the Gunners will have huge problems. The media started to speak about this move after a supposed statement of Robin’s read: “I’ve thought long and hard about it, but I have decided not to extend my contract.
“You guys, the fans, have of course the right to disagree with my view and decision and I will always respect your opinions.”
This may or may not be his statement, but if Robin really wants to leave neither Giroud nor Podolski will be able to replace him, especially after the amazing form he was in last season when he managed to snatch the golden boot.
Do you think that Arsene Wenger will be able to find a worthy replacement for Robin if the Dutchman decides to leave the club this summer, or will Arsenal suffer the way they did after Fabregas’ and Nasri’s departures?

what did Arsenal do without Anelka, Henry, Adebayor, Fabregas etc I dont like this lamenting. Chances are Van also wants to move just because of what looks like Wenger s intention to make the forward line competitive by running for high profile strikers.
We Have His Replacments in Podolski and Giroud .He’s a top player but with Him meeting With PV from Man Citeh It must have been Messing with the other players so I don’t think He will be missed. It’s time to let him move on and forget about him 1 great season outta 8 dosn’t make him a legend just a player who had a good season and We have had plenty of them
This amazing form does it include missing 112 of the 142 goalscoring chances that were created for him in the league last season?
check out his conversion rate. worse than giroud podolski bendtner and vela last season.
Robin van Persie was top scorer because of the many chances created for him by the rest of the team. The next striker will also have many chances created for him as well. He also had that “bully” mentality where he demands the pass when other players could have taken a shot making the other players lose confidence or be afraid of being berated.
We’ll be fine. The other teams had other top top strikers, but they dont have the Gunner service. We’ll see how he does wherever he goes. No player is bigger than Arsenal. Like I have read from other positive minded Gunners, why should playres lament on the lack of trophies when they are the ones who have the onus to deliver?
What hapened last season & others in the past? When we lose our best players of the season, pple kept saying “Arsenal are doomed for religation in the coming season”. Bt it has not been so. We lost Fabrigas, nasri & clichi & yet had a better season without them & even finished third what we hardly achieved with them. Now van persie is leaving, good for him cos i’m sure he wont perform as last season. With podolski & Giroid i’m confident we’ll have a beter season & also win trophies. Good bye RVP arsenal will always survive even without big names.
Why should Arsenal fans worry about him , in 8 good years he was only injury free last season and now realized that he needs a trophy . What of the club that playing him for this years without sending him on loan ……..RVP is just an Arsenal play not Arsenal …so……………..to the door .
i wish rvp does not leave arsenal because we need him imagine giroud, podolsiki and rvp up strick defenders will have no chance !
For once we have thru gunners fans in this blog and I can’t say how proud I am. I think Rvp’s time is up and I say let him GO. What in the whole world gives anyone the guarantee he ll replicate the form of last season even if he stayed and signed for arsenal? And why the hype in Rvp?, what abt the beautiful supplies and assits from Song et al? Where else will he be blessed with such midfield creations if not in Arsenal?, and if he was this Demi-God what them happend in the Euros where he could not obtain one good pass from Robben?. Fans we already have good replacements in Podolski and Giroud, and with just one or two new additions, Arsenal will be Great again. Relax! Kaa’bu Eli.
