It’s a good day for Arsenal as transfer rumours are rounding up for Wenger’s team and more players are announcing their interest in playing the Emirates stadium and their admiration for Arsenal, but let us start with the most important piece of news of the day.
According to TalkSport Robin Van Persie is rumoured to be wanted by Inter Milan, and the Italians are set to send the first transfer fee when the January transfer market opens. Now…Inter might be a good team…but let’s face it! If Robin will leave the Gunners it will only be for the fame because he already has the fortune. All he wants now is silverware which can prove his top class, and that could only be promised by teams like Barcelona, Real Madrid or one of the two Manchester teams.
There’s no chance RVP will choose to leave his beloved club to join Inter Milan who struggle to get out of the relegation zone, so get real people!
Arsenal’s manager Wenger is looking to avoid incidents like the summer one when he brought his transfers very late and had to pay for that, so he already started rounding up the interest points, and it seems that Germany is the hot-spot for now.
We all know that Arsenal has long been interested in Gotze, but now according to The Daily MailWenger is directing his interest towards Borussia Monchengladbach’s attacking midfielder Marco Reus. Borussia’s manager Favre stated:
‘I know Arsene very well, and I told him the truth about Marco, that he is a very good player and very interesting prospect.
‘But I am confident Marco can resist the temptation of Arsenal. It might just be a little too early for him to move. It would be good for him, and for us, if he stayed another year or two. He has incredible qualities, but he can still improve in some ways, and we are working with him every day.”
More good news seems to be coming from Germany, as Borussia Dortmund’s star striker Grosskreutz just stated his love for Arsenal and was quoted by The Daily Mail saying:
‘If I do ever leave Dortmund, I would like to go to the Premier League in England, and my favourite club there is Arsenal.’
Now, Arsenal does have a bucket load of strikers at the moment but if Chamakh will choose to leave for Sevilla in January as rumoured the arrival of the 23-year-old German international would be welcomed by everybody around Arsenal as the striker is one of the best in Germany.
Last, but not least, it seems that Wenger is once again going to his roots and searching for talents in France and he is reported to have entered the fight against Redknapp’s Tottenham and Valencia for the signature of 17-years-old Le Harve teen Jeremy Balmy.
The good thing about today’s rumours is that it’s a bit different than usual and we don’t only hear about Wenger wanting to sign teenagers, but it seems that well established talented footballers are ready to join the Gunners for the right offer.
