Yet another transfer rumour around Arsenal came up today as The Daily Mail quotes Borussia Dortmund’s striker Kevin Grosskreutz stating his admiration for Wenger’s club. The German international striker seems interested in joining Arsenal in case he will leave Dortmund at a certain point.
‘If I do ever leave Dortmund, I would like to go to the Premier League in England, and my favourite club there is Arsenal.’ , said Grosskreutz.
The German striker joined Dortmund from German side Weiss Ahlen after previously playing for them as a youth. Since 2009 when he joined the club the striker became a regular first team player and now he seems interested in yet another challenge after only 2 years.
Having gathered two appearances for Germany, the fairly tall striker would be a good signing for Wenger especially if Chamakh chooses to transfer away from the club after the last period when he couldn’t find his place in the team anymore.
