Even though Arsenal’s manager Arsene Wenger stated previously this month that Rosicky is not for sale and that the veteran attacking midfielder will be kept at the club for a little longer, a good offer might persuade the Frenchman into selling.
Wolfsburg’s manager Felix Magath spoke about the possibility of going for Arsenal’s midfielder in January as he wants to build a winning team once again at Wolfsburg.
“Tomas Rosicky is definitely a quality player, there should be no doubt about that.
“And he is on top of his fitness. A few years ago, he was chased by all of the big clubs in Europe.”
Rosicky is not at the moment a weekly first team player and doesn’t seem like he will be anytime soon if players won’t get injured, so in these conditions Arsene Wenger could easily sell him in the attempt to transfer a younger midfielder for the team.
The likes of Gotze, Hazard or M’Vila will be easily convinced to come for the right kind of offer, but Arsenal must first sell in order to get the money for that.
