According to today’s newspapers the situation with Arsenal’s star midfielder Jack Wilshere is a very grim one as he may very well be unavailable until the end of the season.
Having already lost the first half of the season due to an ankle injury which proved to require surgery, Jack Wishere should have been back on the field during sometime during February, but last week when he was training he had a setback which can prove to be a vital one for him.
The young attacking midfielder underwent a series of tests to determine the exact nature of the setback, but according to today’s newspapers although things are not clear yet the situation may be a terrible one and Wilshere may have to sit out the rest of the season as well.
This will surely come as a big blow to the young Gunner who was hoping to participate at the Euro 2012 with England after helping his national squad qualify with a series of excellent appearances.
Wenger is yet to confirm this, but let’s just hope that nothing of the kind will actually happen and that they’re all just rumours.
