One of the hottest news making the rounds recently is that of Barca’s youngster who is said to be on his way out of the Nou Camp. Tony Sanabria has rebuffed Barca’s latest attempt to extend his contract, a decision that all but reinforces his decision to leave the Nou Camp as soon as possible. Reports claim he wants out as early as next month when the winter window swings open.
While his decision to leave Barca isn’t in doubt, his next decision is. Arsenal and Roma are leading the race for his signature but it seems the Gunners have their noses in front already.
Xavi Pleguezuelo who is also at the Barca’s la masia academy and shares the same agent as Sanabria has added further fuel to the rumour that the Paraguayan could be set for a move to Arsenal.
It is high time the youngster reveals his destination and sincerely, I hope Arsenal wins the race. Often times, talents from Barca’s ludus are usually a step above their mates and one closer to their elders. What Deulofeu is doing at Everton speaks volume of what Barca prodigies can do. If Barca are fighting tooth and nail to keep Sanabria it must mean he is a special talent.
A word of advise for him, if he is leaving Barca so as to enjoy first team football at the highest level, he shouldn’t look too far as Arsenal is the place to be.
