Aside incomings in the summer transfer window, Arsenal are expected to get rid of couple of players. With Rosicky, Arteta and Flamini all gone, the future of the likes of Chamberlain, Joel Campbell and theo Walcott remain in doubt.
Unfortunately for the Arsenal fans who want to see the back of Theo Walcott as soon as possible, the player is more likely to remain at the Emirates than actually leave the club. Last week, West Ham United were linked with a £24 million bid for Walcott but if Express is to be believed, the player has refused the offer from West Ham and will prefer to stay at Arsenal.
The reports claim West Ham have held a discussion with the agents of Theo Walcott and made him an offer of £120,000 a week which they had hoped will be enough to convince the former Southampton star to move to them. Walcott has unfortunately rejected the offer according to Express preferring to continue playing for the Gunners.
Walcott who earns £140,000 a week reportedly doesn’t deliver value for money which explains why Arsenal fans think it is time to part ways with the former Southampton star but unless another club is interested in him, we may have to endure see him going missing in games yet another next season. And not only this, his presence could prevent the signing of the much needed right winger. Guess it was a mistake offering him a contract the last time.
