Napoli Central defender Kalidou Koulibaly is a potential target of Arsenal after his sublime displays last season in Seria A according to The Telegraph .
Koulibaly is a no nonsense defender with a lot of physical attributes standing 6ft 2 inch which will be ideal for the aggressive fast paced Premiership. The defender loves to dominate his area, good in the air/aerial duels and has a perfect recovering rate which allows him to compensate for poor judgements.
Another factor that has enticed the defender to Arsene Wenger is the low wage that the defender might demand if he makes a move to Arsenal. This is a factor which tilts the balance in favour of the Senegalese as unlike his peers who will demand wages of £80,000-£100,000 weekly, the young defender would not demand to earn that much.
The signing of Koulibaly seems more likely given the poor form of Gabriel Paulista since joining from Villarreal and also the gradual ageing of Per Mertesacker.
