Fabregas Saga Again? Barca Ready Make OFFICIAL Bid Of €43m For Bellerin

Arsenal are now set to endure another saga with Hector Bellerin like they did Cesc Fabregas. Fabregas who is now a Chelsea midfielder was part of a long-drawn out saga between Arsenal and Barcelona with the Catalan giants reported to have planted thoughts in the Spanish midfielder’s head which lead to his exit from the North London side to join Barcelona.

Cesc who joined the Gunners from the Barca’s La Masia as a 16-year-old star went on find his feet in the Premier League fast.  Fabregas quickly became the club’s captain in 2008, but was always praised by his former club. Cesc eventually pushed Arsenal for a return to Spain, and his wish was granted in 2011, with a €29m fee paid by the Spanish giants, while the player himself claimed to have had to pay €1m a year to complete the deal.

Now the same situation is beginning to rear its head with Arsenal left-back, Hector Bellerin, set to endure the same treatment, having also made a switch to Arsenal as a 16 year-old and has become one of the best players in his current side. Barcelona’s sporting director Roberto Fernandez heaped praises on Bellerin, although he ruled out a move for him at present.

Fernandez said: “He is a magnificent player but it is not something that we will be pursuing”.

Barca are said to be ready to make a bid of €43.3 million for Bellerin. The 21 year-old who earned a place in the PFA Premier League Team of the Year this season was a late inclusion into Vicente Del Bosque’s Euro squad, a move that gives cause for concern. During the Euros, it is believed that Bellerin’s international teammates will drum the idea of a return to Spain into his head and may be a strong influence on the 21-year old, a situation Fabregas found himself in.

Though only time will tell, will Bellerin choose to stick with the North London side or will he listen to the other voices and make the move to Spain?
