Leicester City Gives Up On Jamie Vardy, To Announce His Replacement

In a news that can be taken as Leicester City giving up on their attempt to keep Jamie Vardy, the foxes are said to be close to signing two attackers in Nigeria youngster Ahmed Musa and Watford’s Troy Deeney. Reports claim both player are extremely very close to becoming Leicester City players and there is a real chance that an official announcement will be made this week.

This report if true can only mean Leicester City know something we don’t know. Maybe Jamie vardy have categorically told them he will be joining Arsenal and they have merely asked him to wait for them to get their targets before the deal is announced? With every media outlets confirming Vardy has agreed personal terms with Arsenal, why exactly will he then change his mind?

If the reports that Ahmed Musa and Deeney are on their way to the Liberty stadium, it is very very possible they are doing so because Vardy is leaving. Or where will those two play? Two Attackers in and they will still keep Vardy? Very unlikely.

Vardy┬ásurely knows he is 29 already and will probably never have the opportunity of playing for a big club like Arsenal ever again. Coupled with the fact that Leicester City are said to have only offered him terms closer to the one Arsenal have offered him and not actually toppled or matched Arsenal’s offer, I personally feel he will be an Arsenal player.
