Medical Done, Arsenal Set To ANNOUNCE Signing Of World Cup Winner

After having signed Granit Xhaka and Jamie Vardy looking like he will become a Gunner in the next couple of days and while everyone focuses on the Jamie Vardy news, Arsenal have moved quickly to sign another player.

According to reports from Africa, Arsenal are on the verge of finally agreeing a deal for Nigeria under 20 international winger Samuel Chukwueze. The FIFA under 17 world cup winner is said to have offered the player seven thousand pounds per week in a bid to bring him to Arsenal. The player was seen at the Emirates in November alongside his national team mate Kelechi Nwakali and Nigeria and Arsenal legend Kanu.

Both Kelechi Nwakali and Samuel Chukwueze were said to have since November agreed terms on a deal to sign for Arsenal but Samuel Chukwueze’s academy side Diamond Academy stopped the winger as they want Arsenal to pay more money. They reportedly felt they could get more money from Porto, Udinese and Tottenham who were said to also be interested in the services of the 17-year-old youth international.

But according to, Arsenal have finally been able to hash out a deal and will now pay what Diamond academy requires. The player himself will get as much as £364,000 per year.

The player already passed a medical in November.
